For a very long time I have not needed to use my WWAN adapter since I have been working at client sites with plenty of network access. However, it has been bugging me that the damn thing still wasn’t working.
Hide the Quick Lauch Bar etc. in SharePoint 2010 Team Sites Welcome Page and other Wiki-pages
In SharePoint 2010 you can use the Content Editor Web Part as was the case in SharePoint 2007.
However, the div-tag has changed and you will also have to set the correct left-margin to another div-tag to avoid having a whitespace where the Quick Launch Bar was placed.
Windows Update error returned 80072EFD … remember, always check twice.
I had just completed installing the new server for my new SharePoint 2010 Demo domain. I had set static ip-address, subnet, gateway, dns-servers, everything was just fine. Well, at least until I tried to run Windows Update. I was presented with the very descriptive error 80072EFD and a link on how to resolve this error.
Typo in SharePoint Announcements list with Danish MUI
The Danish version of SharePoint (or just the MUI) was outputting “og Author” instead of “af Author” in the Announcements List List View Web Part, which roughly translates to “and Author” instead of “by Author”.
Lenovo vs. Ericsson F3507g – a fight that never ends…
Yes, it seems that with every update to the driver software or Access Connections, trouble has to follow.
I was genuinely happy when I found that Lenovo had release a new version of System Update with support for Win7.
I threw it on my x301, ran System Update and everything seemed just fine… BIOS, software and drivers were successfully updated – and once again, I was happy.
Error during installation of Nintex Workflow 2007
Today, I was installing Nintex Workflow 2007 on a fresh install of Office Sharepoint Server 2007. During the installation en error popped up in a command-prompt stating System.Security.SecurityException: access denied at the top and at the bottom for the zone: MyComputer. I did some Nintex specific searching but nothing really came across as a solution to this.
I got certified … again
Well, this is kind of a strange post, since it’s all about padding myself on my shoulders… But I guess, not many have done what I did today which makes me feel proud.
Today I had signed up for two Microsoft exams, MCTS: Windows Sharepoint Server, Configuring (70-631) and MCTS: Office Sharepoint Server (70-630). I completed the first exam within 30 minutes with a passing score. The second took me just about 40 minutes to pass.
Lenovo x301, Mobile Broadband in Denmark, and “3”
My the ThinkVantage Access Connections on my x301 at first didn’t, out-of-the-box, have a WAN Service Provider for “3.
Lenovo x301, Access Connections, and Ericsson F3507g Mobile Broadband MiniCard
I’m a happy owner of the Lenovo x301, but starting a few days ago, the Ericsson F3507g suddenly disapeared from the Device Manager, and Access Connections had the Mobile Connections selection button greyed and disabled. Here’s a solution.
My BDP-9100, it’s about time
My thought on Philips Cinema 21:9 with the Philips BDP-9100 and subtitle adjustments.
